I never got the chance to love you the way I wanted. We were children, trust me I know that now. By the time I realized what I wanted, she was falling asleep in your arms. We could have been in love but you chose lust. You chose a strange body over my heart. I never even got a chance to say I really like you. I never knew you liked me, until my mom and I were talking about you one day. You were one of her favorites by the way. I can still see your smile when you look at me. I probably will never see you ever again on Earth. But I pray to My Father I see you in Heaven. I pray you get your life together. Fall in love with the woman who makes you wanna be a better person. I pray you become a father and know ultimate love. I pray you learn the name of God and use it when you love someone and speak to them. I prayed to God for way too long that I could have been the woman you wanted to change for. But I guess God knows better than my own feelings. I’m going to trust my Father, and I’ll see you in Heaven.
