Are you helping people to Heaven?
I hope this article comes across a little harsh but like in a loving way, because I want to see you in the Halls of Heaven. I was listening to EWTN’s Live Stream, and someone said “how many people have you led to Satan. Every time you tell a dirty joke, every time you encourage a naughty movie, or get drunk with someone, you are inviting them to Satan.” Let’s stop introducing people to the Devil. Really think about it. How many people have you led away from God because you thought a video was funny and you thought your best friend needed to know? Or your cousin was resilient to see a horror movie, but you encouraged her to go. The scariest thing I have ever heard was my cousin say, “who wants to join me, because I am driving the bus to Hell.” I could have cried right then and there because they had no idea what they just said. Everyone in the kitchen started laughing and saying, “I’ll be right there with you.” I remember looking at my mother in awe because those are the scariest words I could hear someone say. It scared me because if we can’t feel the good presence of God in our heart and soul on Earth I fear they will never see it at all and then what are we doing with our lives. The closest people to you might be leading you away more than you think. Take care of your surroundings, because your surroundings will encourage your way home. It might be hard to let the Devil go, because you think you’ll have nothing if you leave all your things behind and follow Jesus, like he says to do. I have people in my life who let the devil run their life. THEY ARE MISERABLE. Let him go! Pray the Rosary, pray to Jesus out loud, the Devil hates hearing the name Jesus. So, shout it from your rooftop. “I love you Jesus.” And maybe you didn’t know doing all those things you were doing was leading people away from God. But if you die and Jesus said to you “If you walk into that room, you will find all the people you lead to me.” Would your room be full or empty?
So here is a question, are you leading more people to God or the Devil
And please take this question very seriously because it might cost you your eternity with God.
If that scares you, good, do something about it. Jesus loves you!
Next time be aware of what you are saying, because a lot of times people talk because they are bored. But next time you speak to someone, bring that person to Jesus. Speak into their soul the words of the Lord. Let Jesus in on what you are talking about, let him in your heart as you hug that person goodbye. Let that person see Jesus in the smile you give them when you see their face. Let’s lead people to Jesus, maybe it’s your cousin, grandmother, neighbor, boss, coworker, and maybe it’s your spouse or child. All you have to do is lead them and Jesus will do the rest.
Let us all show Jesus inside of us. Can I suggest a challenge? Take one month and focus on what you watch, how you speak to people, how much you eat or smoke or whatever your struggle is. Just focus on all the little things you do without thinking. Take note every time you drift away from Jesus and count those tallies at the end of the month. Because every tally might be one step away from your Holy Eternity.

Gift them a Catholic Book
Invite them to Church
Take them to adoration
Introduce them to your Priest
Start a Women’s or Men’s Book group
Make them a custom Rosary, their favorite color
Listen to how their day went
Smile at them every time you see their face
