Have you been feeling sad, drowsy or just feel like you are living life without a purpose? I have the cure, more like I know someone who does. His name is Jesus, and he is present in all the adoration chapels available all over the world. And if you are at work and can't make it, EWTN has virtual adoration on their mobile app. When I sit in adoration, for me it is one on one with my Savior. It is time for me to pray for all my loved ones, and to reflect on my monthly goals. St. Therese once said we should be like children and approach God with humble trust. I have learned a lot from her and yes she will be mentioned a lot on this blog. So next time you go to adoration please kneel down and present yourself as a child. Talk to Jesus like a child would, it will change the way you see yourself. You will stop taking yourself so seriously and when you fall short of the glories of Heaven, you will be softer on yourself rather than bring yourself down. The goal is to humble yourself before Jesus in the most blessed Sacrament. Or if you're a little girl considering the convent as a vocation, go to him and spill your heart, like you are talking to your very best friend in the whole world. All he wants is for us to be willing to love him as he loves us. When he was on the cross, I have to believe every single one of us crossed his mind that day, because it's us he died for. It's you and me, he loves us so much and wants us with him in glory that he knew that day had to happen. Next time you put yourself down or you are mad at yourself, go to him in adoration or Mass and say “here I am, as a child of God.” and watch how your day changes.
